What are your office hours?
Our team is on-site Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are closed on Sundays.

What are your storage facility hours?
Our Drive-Up storage is accessible 24/7 through our coded gate entry. Our Climate-Controlled storage is accessible from 6:00 am to 12 midnight through our coded door entry.

Do you offer humidity- and climate-controlled units?
Yes, we do! If you need to store temperature-sensitive items like papers, photographs, vinyl records, antiques, artwork, or furniture, please ask us about our brand-new, 150-unit storage building, now OPEN! All the units in this new building offer temperture and humidity control, making them the perfect solution for your storage needs.
What if I only need short-term storage?
At Smithfield Self Storage, you can rent with us for as little as one month, making us the perfect option for people with short-term storage requirements. Get in touch with us anytime to learn more.

Can I store large items with you?
We offer a wide range of storage unit sizes. Our largest, 10’ x 20’, is the same size as a one-car garage, making it ideal if you need to store appliances like refrigerators, washers/dryers, freezer chests or dishwashers. You could even park a car there.

We’re close to Smithfield Station and the corporate offices of Smithfield Foods. Newport News Shipyard and Christopher Newport University are both less than a half-hour away.
